- Forest School is a specialised approach to learning which encourages children to explore nature, promote positive risk taking, improve communication skills, build self-confidence and embrace the great outdoors. Forest School sessions are delivered in a woodland or natural environment and are usually booked for a minimum of 6 weeks but can be booked for up to a year to incorporate seasonal changes .The sessions are delivered by qualified Forest School L3 practitioners, with a sound background in environmental education and conservation.
- Activities include den building and shelters, animal tracks and trails, camp-fire cooking sessions, tool safety and use, fire by friction and Kelly kettles, kazoo making, willow weaving, artwork, species ID and nature walks, bug hunts and bug homes, muddy play, clay workshops, swings, pioneering and foraging.

- CPD/Taster sessions – Our trained practitioners offer taster days in Forest school and Outdoor Learning, so that you can experience first hand the benefits and ethos of the forest school movement. - Pre school – we offer tailor made programmes of learning and activities for EYF with sessions such as Mud kitchen, clay workshop, ephemeral art, storytelling, grow your own, natural dyes, plant and animal ID, Willow bird feeders, Art and Design, campfire cooking, dens and Bushcraft.
- Curriculum Activities – We offer a series of activities and study days that will link with Curriculum subjects at School or at your Education venue. Please contact us to discuss your requirements for KS1 and KS2.
- Science – life cycles, habitats, food chains, adaptation, ecology, woodland and wetland surveys, animal and plant ID and classification.
- History – industrial and social history, timelines, heritage.
- Art – ephemeral art, mosaic, willow craft, natural sculpture.
- Mathematics – surveying, field studies, mapping.
- Design Technology – bug homes, bird feeders, shelter building, bird boxes.
- Physical – orienteering, history, treasure hunt, geocaching, archery, team building activities.
- Geography – soil surveys, river studies, mapping and keys, physical and human studies, local landscapes.
- Themed days – day of the Celts, Native American day, Romans, Iron age, Bronze age, Stone age, Seasonal activities (Christmas, Easter, Chinese New Year).
- Enrichment – Camp-fire cooking skills, Bushcraft, food and nutrition, grow your own veg.
