Meet The Team
Michelle Corsair
Michelle has worked in Parks and Countryside for 20 years as an Education Ranger and Senior Activity Leader. She was responsible for the design and delivery of Curriculum based programmes for schools, events and activities, Woodland school, Go Wild activities, Conservation Projects, Eco-schools and Environmental Education.
She has extensive experience working with schools, Disability groups and Rehabilitation Services, Mental health groups, Youth and uniformed groups, Community based forums and Friends of groups.
Michelle has qualifications in Environmental conservation, Forest school L3, Leadership, PTLLS, Management, Diploma in Management for Health and Social Care, Counselling, Outdoor first aid, paediatric first aid, food hygiene, Health and Safety(IOSH) and outdoor activities including Archery GB Leader.
Michelle is also an active member of the Scouting Association and is a scout leader. In her spare time she enjoys Camping, Hill walking, Bushcraft and Foraging for fruit to make crumbles, hedgerow beverages and jams.
Jenny Metcalfe
Jenny has worked as a Countryside Ranger and Education Ranger for thirteen years designing and delivering education programmes, public events and working on conservation projects with volunteers and schools.
She has a BSc in Geography and Foundation Degree in Arboriculture as well as further qualifications in Outdoor First aid, food hygiene, Forest school Level 3, PTLLS, Archery GB leaders certificate and much more!
Jenny has worked on a variety of projects including creating and delivering woodland school education programmes, woodland and wetland conservation projects, children’s summer activity camps, public events, working with local community groups and friends of groups.
Jenny is passionate about inspiring others to enjoy the great outdoors and out of work enjoys camping, walking, bushcraft and foraging.
A complete list of all Qualifications and certificates for the team is available upon request. All our sessions are fully Risk assessed and we have Public liability insurance, DBS and Outdoor first aid. All our staff have attended safeguarding/child protection training courses.
